Special Event and Wedding Menus: Summer Sensations and Winter Wonders

A seasonal menu can be an aspect that will either be an attribute or a setback at your event. Whether it’s a simple barbeque with family and friends, a cozy dinner party or an elegant 5 course meal at your dream wedding, these are the recipes and foods to serve at your event, no matter the season!
Summer:
New York-Style Chopped Salad

Ree's salad is made to feed a large group. Lay out the greens and all the fixings in small dishes and then have everyone build their own salad by throwing what they want into their own bowl.

Goat Cheese and Sun Dried Tomato Profiteroles with Herb Oil

Giada's savory profiteroles are filled with goat cheese and sun dried tomatoes then topped with a mint and basil oil.

Paula's Salmon Salad

For a great picnic, serve Paula's salmon salad over lettuce or as a sandwich.

Raspberry Lime Punch

A refreshing rum punch makes the perfect summer party drink.

Winter:
Sautéed Pork Chops with Sweet Potato, Apples and Mustard Sauce

The classic combination of tender pork, tart apples, and cider-braised sweet potatoes is a textbook meal for chilly days, especially when you're really hungry.

Clementine Mulled Cider
Way to warm up the room—especially if it's spiked.

Dan Roman's Buttery Roasted Chestnuts in Foil
These peel 'n' eat chestnuts are truly finger-licking delicious. Make sure to score the nuts deeply so that the peels will open as they roast.
