Downtown city-scapes are fantastic back drops for all types of events from birthday parties to weddings.  The city is all lit up and creates amazing pictures during the day and of course at night. Some of these ideas, keep in mind that you may need a permit for depending upon the city you live in.  Imagine…

1.       Recreating the Beatles picture in a cross walk for one of your wedding pictures
2.       Hide & seek pictures in tall white marble columns on your wedding day collapsing in each others arms.
3.       Pictures of the two of you playing in a fountain. OR
4.       Blue or purple LEDs shooting up brick walls and floating in a skyscraper swimming pool white  LED flowers all while dancing to your favorite song next to pool.  In the not so distant background the clock tower all lit up in white and pale blue.

1.       Masquerade weddings are a fun idea too and since they go hand in hand with Gatsby glamour why not add this flavor to your wedding day.
2.       Masquerade balls for foundation fundraisers.
3.       Masquerade parties for sweet 16s and quincearenas.
4.        Masquerade balls for holiday parties such as Christmas and of course New Years!

Murder Mystery Parties

Years ago these where very popular and they are making a come-back – in a bigger than life way. What do I mean?  Let’s say that you decide to stay with the vintage theme; like a 1920’s Speakeasy as a setting.  This murder mystery party would be a theme party at a bar, restaurant or in your home with a complete re-do that resembles a Speakeasy, a couple professional actors are brought in to play your key players, all of your guests come in 1920s costumes and for 3 hours it’s a game of clue with your attendees trying to figure out “who done it!”  Sounds fun, right?  It can be an absolute ball and your guests will never forget it.
