Sometimes it is
necessary for the company or a department within a company to take a couple
days away from the office and just get back to basics. Why:
maybe there is a new manager, re-structure of the department or company
as a whole, key players possibility retired or there are some personality
clashes.
It’s great to
get away, air out the dirty laundry and then come together with a clear, clean
vision and rally the troops to get ahead of the curve. Regardless of it being a day, a weekend, or a
week – lots can be accomplished in this scenario and building up the department
as a comrade situation helps your team to really focus on the big picture when
they get back into the office.
